We have constructed a number of Astro Turf Pitches since 2018 both as Main Contractor and as Specialist Subcontractor to some of the UK & Irelands Largest Astro Turf Suppliers. We are your proven Contractor when it comes to Design & Installation of your Synthetic Pitch. Our extensive Earthworks & Drainage experience enables us to provide cost effective solutions for any unforeseen issues below existing ground level. We carry out all Earthworks, Drainage, Utilities & Subbase works in house and engage Specialist Subcontractors to install Fencing, Lighting and the Astro Turf elements of the Works. We have completed pitches complying with Fifa & Gaa Requirements and Accreditations.   • Existing Full Size Grass Soccer Pitch prior to Construction of Porposed 3G Fifa Approved Astro Turf.     

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Topsoil carefully Stripped by Excavator prior to Earthworks and Preparation of Sub-Formation. Material in this case was sealed in Bunds prior to being loaded onto Trucks to remove offsite.    

 

 

 

 

  • Sub-Formation completed following removal of Soft Ground and replaced prior to trimming with laser Dozer to correct design levels. Quality Control Inspection Point at this stage to prove that the Subformation has the required Bearing capabilities to construct the Granular Layers above for the new Pitch Foundation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Installation of Filter Drains. Separation Geotextile being installed between Subformation and Granular Layer 1. Drainage Crew Laying ahead of Geotextile Crew Installing membrane as drains are completed and Granular Material is imported and spread.

 

 

 

 

  • Filter Drains, Geotextile And Granular Layer 1 being installed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Filter Drains, Geotextile And Granular Layer 1 being installed.

 

 

 

  • Drainage Complete. Granular Layer 1 Continues to be imported and Spread.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Granular Layer 1 Completed to Design Levels and Layer 2 being Spread and Trimmed by our Laser Grader working to fine tolerances ensuring there is a nice level suface.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Granular Layer 2 Completed to Design Levels and Layer 3 being Spread and Trimmed by our Laser Grader working to fine tolerances ensuring there is a nice level suface. This Surface is tested for Level and Porosity to ensure the pitch is completed within tolerence and will provide the required soakage for Drainage. Our Laser controlled Grader is excellent for achieving these fine tolerance surfaces.
